No. I've encountered living computer programs and inorganic life. None sentient, however.

We're not simple computer programs. We're alive. Completely and totally--like an organic, but... metal. I guess.

Yes, I understand. There are creatures in my own world which are entirely metal and mechanical in nature, but alive.
