The Fourth Draft is done and will be handed in tomorrow. We copyedit in teams, with one member from the other writing class. Unfortunately, I'm part of a weird group, so I don't get to copy edit until Thursday. The others copyedit on Tuesday. It's all a little confusing.
I'm not really ready to go home, but I guess it's happening in 2 weeks. I am ready to be done with Salt, or actually just this subject. I still have to write a short piece that falls under the overarching theme. I'm thinking about a piece on the excesses of dog stuff--organic food, treats, costumes, accessories, etc.
I'm trying to figure out how to move out of my parent's house. The best option is living with my sister, which I would be fine with. I enjoy her company and think that it would be fun. We'll see if she agrees...
Otherwise, I have no life. It's still not that cold here. I'm planning a volunteer project doing oral histories with Jewish seniors in Madison in January...and I guess I'll find a part-time job to do while I'm figuring the rest out. Makes me anxious!
Currently, the title of my piece is: Not all puppies and love: The story of a dog breeder in Maine.
or Puppylove: a Maine breeder's tale
