Hello!
Hello everyone! The force of evil that is John has persuaded me that as we are about to have a baby, having a livejournal acount is the best way to keep everyone informed. Well, not a BABY baby, but a bunny baby! He is a 5 month old mini rex and is ADORABLE!
His name right now is Dobie (we are taking suggestions, but I think it wil end up being Bowie beause of the eyeliner).
Dobie was rescued through the Indiana House Rabbit Society. He was bought on a whim by some college students at IU who decided after two weeks that he was "too much work" and abandoned him. He was taken in by the HRS and housed at the Greenwood Petco. We saw him on the website and I fell hopelessly in love. After taking a (mostly) fruitless trip down there on Friday night we went again on Saturday and spent an hour and a half on the floor playing and interacting with him. He is totally fearless and hopped up on my chest to check me out. Much to my dismay he seemed to take to John and kept jumping up on him to have a sniff and scent mark him. He comes home on Thursday night and I can't wait. We are taking suggestions on names, he is white with black eyeliner as you can see in the picture...that is his HRS pic, there will be many more to come I am sure!
