Once upon a time...

i wrote a raunchy story in middle school after reading my first romance book and the kids dared me to give it to my english teacher. i did and he said it was pretty good, but not to show anyone else.

once upon a time i went on a breakfast cruise in Savannah with my girl scout troop. i pretended like we were on the titanic and I was Rose. By the end of the cruise I had found my Jack, and we traded email information and promised to keep in touch.

once upon a time i was dared to start singing and dancing on a subway car in NYC, i did and when i finished i got a standing ovation..

once upon a time i was dared to go up and talk to cute boys, did, and made several friends or hooked up my friends.

once upon a time i was dared to go swim in the reflection pond in the middle of Clemson University, i did and the other guys i was with decided they would follow my example and had the best time they'd had on campus in a while.

that's me. i try to be out of the ordinary, do out of the ordinary things, keep people guessing, and take them on adventures. I don't get to live that part of me out very often anymore. i have started to increasingly care what others thought and to mold myself so i wouldn't be thought of as weird. i used to REVEL in that adjective, now it scares me. Sometimes I will break the insecure shell and i will feel more like me again. like the time i went with bryon to some remote part of a clemson lake we'd found and decided to hop in the water and swim top less. not that life should be that "extreme" all the time. monotony, conformity just gets boring.

i have to change myself for the better. i dont want to end up just being another American citizen that tries to gain the American dream and die stressed and unhappy because i wouldn't color outside the lines. that's not me, never been me. it's time i stopped acting like it.
