Happy, Birthday, Greta Garbo/Patrick Swayze (1952-2009)
Today is what would have been the 104th Birthday of screen legend Greta Garbo. A figure forever associated with mystery, she made her legendary mark with films such as Grand Hotel, Camille, Anna Christie, Anna Karenina, Queen Christina, Ninotchka - in the end, the list is endless. Here's to you Miss Garbo, because you are not alone!

And there is also sad news: Patrick Swayze died Monday following a brave battle with cancer. He was one of my favorites as a child, and he was so talented and classy - a lovely man inside and out. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
