As you probably know, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died yesterday at the age of 50 of what is reported to be cardiac arrest. Regardless of what you think of him, you cannot deny that he was a musical genius and left a legacy that few could ever have. Michael's music is has been an important memory of my childhood and teenage years, and I enjoy them to this day. I would have loved to share some of my favorite songs of Michael, but it was hard to find a website that would allow to embed videos onto here. I love Thriller, Bad, Billie Jean, Can't Stop Till You Get Enough, Smooth Criminal, Beat It - in the end, the list is endless. Rest in peace, Michael.
Yesterday, we also lost another icon, Farrah Fawcett, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 62. Know for the hit TV series Charlie's Angels and for creating a popular hair craze, she became one of the most popular faces of the 1970s. May she rest in peace.
