Today is what would have been the 102nd Birthday of John Wayne. Known as The Duke, he was an actor best known as the hero of Western and War films. A childhood hero of my father, he made his legendary mark in Hollywood with such films as Stagecoach, She wore a yellow ribbon, The Searchers and True Grit. Here's to the one and only Duke!
