Ah, yes...another difficult journal entry for me for to write...today is what would have been Jimmy Stewart's 101st Birthday. There is so much to be said of the man who made his legendary mark with such classic films such as Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, It's A Wonderful Life, Vertigo and Rear Window. He was our Everyman - someone that we could identify with - a great actor and overall a great human being. I love Jimmy because he was so sincere, so natural - he was so good that you could barley notice that he is acting. Seeing him act makes you feel - and that moves me. His World War II Services are proof of his bravery, flying 20 combat operations! With so many beloved classic films under his belt, it's no wonder why Jimmy Stewart is one of the world's most beloved stars. Here's to you, sweet Jimmy!
