Happy Birthday, Katharine Hepburn!

What are the odds that the two legendary actresses with the last name "Hepburn" have their Birthdays in the same month =D?

Today is what would have been the 102nd Birthday of screen legend Katharine Hepburn. With 4 Oscars and many more nominations under her belt, it's no wonder that many people - including my father and  the those at the American Film Institute  - consider her the greatest actress that ever lived. With her legendary performances in Bringing up Baby, The Philadelphia Story, The African Queen and The Lion in Winter, it's very difficult to argue that. A few days ago, I saw a documentary on Kate hosted by Kate herself - Katharine Hepburn: All About Me, and she seemed so nice, simple and down to earth despite the stories, legends and rumors regarding her. What moved me, however, was when she recalled Spencer Tracy, her partner for over 25 years. They really loved each other and they remain one of the greatest Hollywood romances in history. Here's to Kate!

To celebrate Kate, here are some awesome clips:

My favorite Katharine Hepburn movie is definitely The Philadelphia Story. Here are a few scenes from the movie:

And here is a scene from Bringing up Baby - a hilarious romantic comedy.

And finally, here is a scene from Lion in Winter. I think this is Kate's greatest dramatic performances:

That's all for now, enjoy!
