Wanted to make sure you are all aware as I haven't heard anything about this in the news, and only found out through work (we carry some of these products).

There is currently a Salmonella issue with peanut butter, the exact source is still unknown but it is being recomended to discontinue use of ANY peanut butter products until the issue is resolved. Kellog is likely just being responsible and trying to prevent any liability issues.

the Kellogg's press release mentioned Peanut Corporation of America is being investigated and that's who they purchase their peanut butter from. Makes you wonder how many other companies buy their peanut butter from the same company and haven't issued recalls or even warnings.
