Hartford ideas, anyone?

I'm going on a road trip to Hartford on Friday; we're probably leaving late afternoon-ish and staying through till the night. Does anybody know the city and have any ideas of stuff we could do?

You could visit the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art- I hear it's a great museum!, or the Museum of Connecticut History, perhaps the Mark Twain House, or the Trash Museum, Hartfod Children's Theatre, Rensselaer at Hartford, Hartford Police Museum, the Old State House,Craftery Gallery, Amistad Trail...

all i can tell you is that i live 20 minutes outside of hartford and that hartford is once scary ass place. Watch yourself!
