(no subject)
Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu.
Today we're fasting. Tomorrow is Eid for us inshallah. I'm pretty... excited about it but kind of anxious. I don't really know why?
Lately I've had my plate full subhanallah. I haven't really had much time to do any school work unfortunately but inshallah I hope to create a more of a balanced schedule. Yesterday my husband and I found out our marriage was invalid because there was two female witnesses but not a male. Thus not enough witnesses. So last night after maghrib we were married islamically. Which was a relief. The sheikh said if we were in ignorance then inshallah it won't be held against us. Allah knows best. May Allah forgive us for the mistakes we make, ameen.
I met this woman at the masjid last night while making wudu and her and her husband are christians. He is actually a pastor.
I taught her a few things and we prayed together for maghrib. I found it to be a mercy from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Mashallah she is such a nice and well spoken woman. My husband told me he sees her husband frequently so may Allah guide them towards the truth they are seeking. ameen.
Yesterday after teaching ayisha I got two books. Why? I don't know. I barely have any time to read them anyway.
I'm sitting here blank. I'm tired and my husband is at the masjid. I don't know why I update anymore, I guess just to vent and update.
