What to get from Rucy's Vanity

A while ago, Rucy's Vanity reached out and asked me to try out some of their products. I was more than happy to oblige of course because I'm always up to testing out new products. I went to their site and picked five products:

2 sheet masks in Green Tea (Best for Oily Skin) and Cucumber (Best for Normal and Dry skin) - Php 35 each
Lip and cheek red - Php 80
Gleamy Lipstick in Orange - Php 150
Auto Eyebrow pencil in Gray - Php 80

My favorites so far are the sheet masks and the eyebrow pencil. I used the cucumbe one after using a clay mask and it helps prevent the skin from drying. I usually follow a clay mask with a moisturising mask so it brings back elasticity and moisture to the skin. The green tea one smelled nice but I can't say for sure if it did help with keeping the skin matte and for deep cleansing. I prefer clay masks for that. Still it was a nice mask to try and for something so affordable, it's definitely worth picking up. My top favorite would have to be the eyebrow pencil. The consistency sits between a pencil and wax, it's not so hard that it tugs on your skin but it's also not too soft that it dissolves as soon as you step outside of an aircoditioned room. I like the color too, it looks a bit dark in the swatch but you just have to brush it through with a spoolie and the color softens/blends out.

The lipstick is ok but it's not my cup of tea at the moment (I'm into mattes these days). The color is more of a summer one but if you're looking for a true orange color, then this one is for you. The lip and cheek tint, on the other hand , is like a thicker version of the Body Shop's lip and cheek tint. The color when blended out turns into a pink color that I actually prefer to the blood red one. I prefer for the lips though as I have oily skin and it doesn't sit well on my cheeks.

Overall, I would say for the price range, Rucy's Vanity offers a number of gems. Right now, they're having a sale until Oct. 21. If you're interested, I suggest you try out the masks and the pencils. Or you can also find more products at the Rucy's Vanity site: http://rucysvanityph.com/.
