The posh nude lippie
Apologies to those who hate the word lippie. I got this Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Color in Adrienne a few months back and decided that it's going to be one of my special occasion lipsticks. You know, those expensive ones you only use for special events, parties, etc. However, I haven't been to a lot of parties lately and to be honest, if I wait for those occasions, I will never be able to finish this tube. So I thought, what the heck, I'm going to use this even if I'm just going to the supermarket to do my grocery. I've been using this lately and it has become my go-to nude. The color is nothing fancy, a true nude with more brown to it which is what I'm really into now. Because the formula is hydrating, it does have a lot of shine to it. Not really glossy but just a little bit of shine. As with most hydrating formulas, it does not last long on the lips. Weartime for me is max of 3 hours and then it's gone. It's one those that disappears when you eat too. It's Chanel though and it has a swanky tube so I'm sure you wouldn't mind bringing it with you for touch ups. Overall, this lipstick is a nice everyday nude if you're in the mood to splurge.
