For some reason I really loved wearing makeup this month. Well the reason is probably the fact that my morning commute is so much easier because I carpool with an officemate who lives nearby (hello, Therese!). So I have more time to do my makeup in the mornings and I know it wouldn't wash off in the heat. There are some new favorites here and some that I've rediscovered throughout the month. Here are is my product list aka favorites for January:
Clinique Superprimer Colour Corrects - aka my new primer love!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder - (reviwed here) probably my most flawless setting powder. It's not the best one for controlling oil but it gives that luminous glow to the skin
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Fair - a recent favorite and is a good dupe for the NARS Radiant creamy concealer (compared here)
& Other Stories Blusher in Canvas Taupe - my favorite neutral blush at the moment
Shu Uemura Hard 9 pencil - an oldie but a goodie, it never makes the eyebrows look harsh and combined with a good spoolie, gives neat eyebrows every time
Revlon Brow Fantasy in Soft Brown - I only use the mascara end and for that alone, I think it's a good product
NYX Retractable eyeliner in Brown - for a smoked out soft liner look, I use this because it's super creamy and blendable (reviwed here)
Maybelline The Rocket mascara - a newly discovered Maybelline gem (reviewed here)
Beauty Bar individual eyelashes - this year I want to try new things when it comes to makeup and mastering falsies is my main thing this month (post here)
Maybelline Color Drama lip crayon in Nude Perfection - this lip crayon lives in my makeup bag and I carry it with me always, review coming soon!
Essence Lipstick in Barely There - can you tell I'm addicted to nudes? This is another color that I've added to my nude lipstick collection
