Magazine Freebies for November
Hello! I know I promised to post more this week but I may have underestimated the amount of work lined up for me this week. I did manage to get some stuff so maybe a haul post will be coming soon when I get home. For now, I thought I'd show you two magazine freebies that I got this time around. Buying travel-sized magazines and getting freebies from them might be one of my favorite things to do when I'm over in the UK (freebie posts here). This time, I got Glamour and Harper's Bazaar. I love Glamour and I read it cover to cover. It's just an added bonus that they always have awesome freebies (remember the Clinique phase?).
This time, it's Nails, Inc. polishes and I got the color Wigmore Street. I want to get another one, a neutral browny gray color because I simply love the formula of this nail polish. This is the first time I've tried Nails, Inc. and I think it's great. I've been wearing the color all week and without topcoat, it lasted me about three days before it got chipped. That's the average amount of time a nail polish lasts on my nails anyway and that's with base and topcoat. I imagine this will last longer when I apply it properly. I just put it on my nails last Sunday because I just wanted some color on my nails. I think it performed better than I hoped it would.
The other magazine that I got is Harper's Bazaar. To be honest, I just got it for the mascara. I have never tried an Estee Lauder mascara and I got to do that for 4GBP. Not bad, right? I browsed through the magazine and I'm just not into it so I might not bring it home. The mascara though, I really like. It does give me panda eyes at the end of the day but it's not a little smudging couldn't fix. The wand is huge and longer than all my other mascara minis. Will I buy a full-sized one? Hmm maybe not. I'm good with my drugstore ones. But it you want to try some new beauty stuff, I suggest you go and raid the magazine racks.
