Product List: August 2014

Welcome to my August Product List aka favorites for the past month! I know it's already the 3rd of September but at least this post is only three days late not like the last time when I had to consolidate two months worth of favorites. Yay progress! I don't have a lot of makeup favorites this month because I have been using mostly what I used in July and I didn't want to repeat what I've already posted. Anyway, on to the products:

Photo 1:
Soap and Glory Brow Archery - I got this on my last visit to Boots. If I'm not mistaken this is a new release from the brand. The old Brow Archery had a thick square nib at one end and a brush tip on the other end. But this one is a fine nib and spoolie duo. I have been using the blonde version in the inner corners of my eyebrows and the brown one for the middle and end. I don't mind using two pencils because they're both very easy to use and I like the defined but soft finish it gives.

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter - This is one of my first products from No7 and I love it. I got this along with a blush stick which I also like but this, I really love. It makes highlighting super easy. I swipe these on tops of my cheekbons and then pat pat and blend blend then I'm done. The color is very similar to the Topshop Glow polish but in stick form. I also like popping this in the inner corners of my eyes for that wide awake look.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder - This is always a favorite for me but I added it this month because look at the crater in the middle! Once you hit pan, I feel like the product quickly runs out after.

Gosh Mineral Eyeshadow Stick in Golden Brown - This is quite new this month but I just had to include it because I loooove the color. It looks like a gold-brown-taupe shimmery color that's perfect for all over the lids. Review to follow soon!

Maybelline Electro Baby Lips in Strike a Rose - My favorite colored lip balm this month. This gives a pretty sheer rosy-pink color that's perfect for when you're having a dry lip moment but you also crave color.

Superdrug nail polish remover pads - My favorite way of removing nail polish. It's so easy to use this vs. soaking a separate cotton pad with nail polish remover. It, however, leaves an oily finish which I like because it hydrates the nails. But you have to wash your hands after to remove the residue.

REN ClearCalm3 Clarifying Cleanser - The only cleanser I've been using for the past couple of months. This is what I've used morning and night and I already have a back up of this when this bottle runs out.

Diptyque Geranium Odorata roller ball perfume - Ever since I got this, it's all I've been using daily. I have a feeling I'll run out and then I'll have to buy the full sized one. This smells like a grown up floral scent. Like a tough girly smell. If that makes sense.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm - My favorite hand balm ever. This smells really, really good in a clean and medicinal way. It makes my hand super soft and smooth. My hands are the first to go crazy whenever my skin is getting dry. I get peeling around my fingers and it gets really painful. I find that this is great at hydrating even the skin around my fingers.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir - To be honest, I'm not sure what this does. Is it a toner? Is it a misting freshner? And I don't even care. I just know that I love spraying this on my face after I've had a horrible commute in the morning. I spray this on my face and I'm instantly cooled and refreshed and ready to face the day.

What are your favorites this month?
