Nail Polishes of the Week: Essie Baby Boy or Baby Girl? Duo
I just love how easily accessible Essie polishes here in the UK! There's practically a Boots store in every corner here and you can get Essie from there. I haven't been buying a lot of stuff from Essie but the ones I got, I really like. The first of which is this nail polish duo called Essie Baby Boy or Baby Girl? which contains two nail polishes: a pink and a blue. Wouldn't it look totally cute as a baby shower gift? Anyway, I've tried both colors and I like them both equally.
The blue is called Lapiz of Luxury and it's the first color I tried on my nails. I love the color because it's bright but still office appropriate. I wore it for a week and it stayed on really well. I think I got a chip after about three days. I used two coats to get the color in the first photo. The color I have on my nails right now is the pink one called Muchi Muchi which is just the cutest nail polish name ever. It's a soft baby pink color. The thing about such soft colors is that you need about three shades to get an opaque color but I don't mind. Like the blue one, it's going strong on my nails with just minimal tip wear. My only gripe is that I wish these were in mini size because honestly, who finishes a whole bottle of nail polish?
PS. I didn't use a top coat in these just the Essie Apricot cuticle oil.
