The Sunday Pamper #2

Mar 02, 2014 10:00

The Sunday Pamper series is about beauty-related bits that I do on sundays to pamper myself. We all need a little pampering especially on sundays as it's the last day of the weekend! Read about my first Sunday pamper post here.

Today's Sunday Pamper is all about trying new stuff from my past hauls. I only have four products today, one of which you've already seen last Friday which means it's not necessary reserved for Sundays only but I guess it deserved to be included here because it is all I wear on my lips all Sunday long. Here's what I've been using this Sunday:

Nivea Lip Butter in Caramel Cream
I've already posted about this product last Friday - read here. Aside from it being part of my nightly routine, it's also what I've been wearing on my lips the whole Sunday long. This lip butter is hydrating but unlike balms, it's not sticky and heavy on the lips. I love that it smells exactly like Caramel too!

Briogeo Don't Despair Repair hair mask
I got this from my January Ipsy bag -- post here -- and to be honest, I'm not particularly keen on this. I don't like the smell (coconut-y ugh) and I don't think it does anything fabulous to my hair. I do need to give my hair extra loving because of all the stuff I've done to it last year so I use it. One more use and I'm done with the pot. If you have any hair masks suggestions, please let me know!

Soap & Glory Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em Body Buff
Oh my gosh. I love this. But then again, I love everything I've tried from Soap & Glory. They make the most amazing smelling products ever. This is no different. I just love this body scrub. It doesn't feel rough on the skin unlike other scrubs. I'm super bummed I didn't buy a huge pot.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
This mask was part of my Healthy Options haul and I'm super glad I found it there. I'm definitely going to repurchase this when I ran out. It's a huge tube though. My husband and I both love this mask because it's minty so it feels super refreshing on the face. It smells like toothpaste. Haha! But after using this, my skin feels refreshed and you really see whatever's lurking underneath the pores come out into the surface. I like this better than the Mud version actually.

I also bought a new Bobbi Brown book called Everything Eyes (or something like that). I'm going to make a post about it because I think it has a lot of practical tips for eyemakeup lovers. Stay tuned for that! In the meantime, what have you been up to this Sunday?
