Nail Polish of the Week: Essie California Coral
I do not have a lot of Essie nail polishes. And it's because I was mostly using OPI. There's a big beauty debate on which brand is the best when it comes to nail colors. I think I'm still an OPI girl but there's nothing wrong with branching out once in a while. Last year, I got to try Essie Min Candy Apple -- reviewed here -- and fell in love with the color. I was really into mint green/light blue nail colors last summer. Since then, I found an Essie seller in Festival Mall and this was my latest purchase:
This is Essie California Coral. Please ignore the fugly accent color. I have removed it and replaced with the Essie color. I wanted to try a white nail polish with a glitter top coat but that didn't turn out how I wanted it to. Anyway, back to California Coral. I am just not sure about this color. On the bottle, it's super super pretty but when applied on my nails, ugh. Not the same. It makes my hand look darker. If that makes sense. It's a bright color but doesn't brighten. I don't like it on my nails. Who's up for a nail polish swap?
