Weekend Haul: Spotlight on NARS
This is a special edition of my Weekend Haul post as it only features one brand: NARS. Before this post, I've only tried one productI only have one product from the brand which is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita. I've been using this for years and I'm very, very impressed with the formula. Since then, I've coveted getting more products from the brand and this holiday season, I sort of gave in (and ok, went a little crazy).
I didn't buy all of these products, some of them are actually gifts from my husband (we celebrated out first anniversary!). I took advantage of the special occasion and asked him to get me the products that I'm really keen on trying. Here's my NARS loot:
Eyeshadow palette in Ride Up to The Moon, Laguna Bronzer, Guy Bourdin Limited Edition blush in Daydream, Radiant Creamy concealer in Custard, Satin Lip Pencil in Golshan, Albatross lipgloss (which was a gift with purchase) and my old Dolce Vita lip pencil
So far, I've only used the concealer, bronzer and blush which surprise, surprise has become daily staples for me. The blush is starting to become my most favorite blush ever which is dangerous because it's a limited edition product. I should start using this in moderation. It'll be a sad day when I hit pan on this little beauty. I've already swatched the eyeshadows and they are seriously, seriously pigmented. I don't know how they'll fare on my oily lids but we shall see. The satin lip pencil is a second choice. My first choice was Cruella (which the lovely Anna of Viviana Does Makeup has been sporting lately) but it was sold out everywhere! Ugh. The Albatross lip gloss is something I'm happy to have especially since it's a gwp! Who doesn't love getting free stuff? Anyway, I'll probably post a review of the blush soon because it's just suuuper pretty. Let me know if you have a favorite NARS product that I should try!
