Weekend Haul: Week 43
It's been a long time since I hauled something that isn't from the drugstore. Plus this haul is half drugstore, half high-end so I can justify this spending. Haha! I really blame the blogs that I've been reading fot this haul. But I'm super excited to use all the stuff that I got. Here's what's been added to my makeup stash:
BYS Concealer in Light, L'Oreal Lucent Magigue Foundation in N2 Porcelain, Forever 21 Face Brush and Clinique Chubby Stick eyeshadows in Fuller Fudge and Lavishing Lilac. I'm super excited to use the Chubby Sticks! Despite my overflowing lipstick stash, I'm an eyeshadow girl through and through. I get excited whenever I have new eye products to try. I said earlier that I blame the blogs I read for this spending. For these two, I blame Estee of Essie Button. She recently did a get ready with me type of video and she used these two together. I loved the look so much so I got these so I can recreate the look. For the foundation, I blame Carina of Softly Sometimes. She blogged about this a while back and I guess it got stored in my mind somehow. I was supposed to get the Le Teint version instead of the Lucent Magique but at the last minute I changed my mind because I remembered (and googled) Carina's review. I just hope this shade isn't too light for my skintone. The BYS concealer is something I want to try again. I got this in a darker shade a while back and naturally, it didn't work because it looked too yellow on me. A friend with darker skintone recently asked me to do her makeup for an event and I just knew it will work on her skin. I used it to cover her dark circles and it worked like a dream on her. I gave her the tube and got myself this lighter shade. Let's hope this will work on my skin too. The brush from F21 has the prettiest handle ever so of course I have to get it.
