Lips ala Kate Moss
Rimmel. A brand that I really don't want to like because it's not available locally. But what am I to do when they keep on releasing awesome products like the Stay Matte powder (a makeup bag staple for me) and the Apocalips (lip lacquer love!)? I am inlove again, this time with the Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss lipstick. I got shade #101 which is the palest pink lipstick I own right now:
I used to be deathly afraid of barely there, light cool lipsticks because I thought I couldn't pull them off. For all I know I still can't but I've grown more comfortable wearing them. It goes so well with dark eye makeup. Like all matte lipsticks, it will stick to dry patches on your lips so you have to apply a balm underneath and then wipe off the excess before applying the product. This lasts around six hours without eating or drinking. It also has a strong scent which I'm starting to like or maybe I just associate it with Rimmel as all the products I've tried from them has a strong old makeup smell. It doesn't bother me though. I like the smell and I like the product even more. I want to try more products from this collection!
