Have you ever been excited about a product that you stalk it online, add it to your
want/need list and even
enlist your friend to buy it for you overseas? That's how I felt about the Rimmel Stay Matte powder.
This has been reviewed by a bunch of beauty bloggers so I got curious about it. When I finally got my hands on it though, I just didn't get what the fuss was all about. I got the shade Transparent which isn't supposed to deposit any color; it's just supposed to keep your face matte. This was perfect because I wanted to pair it with my BB cream or foundation. I tried pairing this with the Too Cool for School BB cream but it just didn't work. It sits on top of my skin and instead of making my face matte, it made my face look powdery. I stopped using it after a week. I don't want to give up on it yet though because it does keep my face matte for up to four to six hours. That's really good considering how oily my t-zone gets. I'll try to pair this with a different BB cream or maybe a foundation and see how it works out. In the meantime, I'll reserve judgment on it first.
