My Daily Makeup Routine

I wear makeup everyday in the office. It's part of my morning routine to sort of condition myself for another gruelling day. It's like painting my work-face on. Recently, my officemates asked me how long it takes me to do my daily makeup. And I thought, it really depends. If I'm testing out a new makeup look, it can take me an hour to do my whole face. It takes longer because I don't know the amount of makeup I need to use to achieve the color that I want. I usually take more time doing my eye makeup than the rest of my face.

But it's a different story for my daily office makeup which only takes around 30 minutes. If I'm not testing out a new eyeshadow or a new lipstick, I stick to neutral eye makeup and pink lipstick. Today, here are the products that I use to do my daily look:

On regular days, I don't use liquid foundation because it's super hot nowadays. On colder months, I might use it daily again. For the face, I use The Body Shop Tea Tree concealer (Shade 01) for my spots, Essence Stay Natural concealer (Soft Nude) for the undereye area and set all of that with MAC Studio Fix powder foundation (NC30).

For my brows, I use Etude Drawing Eye Brow pencil (03) and Color My Brows brow mascara.

My eyemakeup is simple on regular days. I use Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze all over my lids, dab a little on my lower lash line and line my upper lashline with Maybelline Expert Eyes Soft Kohl Eye Pencil in Black. I then curl my lashes with my Fanny Serrano eyelash curler and then use Maybelline Magnum Volum Express Super Film mascara in Black for my eyelashes. That's what I use for the first coat. But one coat is not enough for my barely-there lashes. For the second coat, I use Benefit They're Real mascara which lengthens and volumizes my sparse eyelashes.

When I'm done with my eyes, I can rest easy as it only takes a few minutes to do my blush and lipstick. My usual blusher right now is Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-HR blush in Blissful and for the lipstick, it's Maybelline Color Whisper in Mocha Muse.

That's it. I usually just change up my eyeshadow, lipstick and blush but the rest are pretty much staples in my daily routine. I also switch up my eyeliner and use a gel one when I want a more defined line on my upper lash line.

This is a really fun post to make. I'll probably update this one when I change my daily makeup routine.

FOTD under the cut!
