We've been seeing billboards of this product along Buendia Avenue (Jessica Biel is the endorser) on our way to work every morning and since I'm a big fan of lipstains (currently using the Face Shop lip tint), I decided to try this product.
Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + balm
Comes with in this pentel-pen like applicator and a clear lip balm on the other end
Revlon used to have a lipstain called Bitten a few years ago. It came in a glass tube with a roll-on applicator. I actually wanted to try it before but they didn't release it here in the Philippines daw. So when I saw that they revived the product in a new format, I went ahead and bought it.
Frenzy
Left: With Flash Right: Without Flash
When I got to the Revlon counter, major dilemma. Gusto ko lahat ng shades! Lol! I settled for Frenzy because I'm inlove with its reddish fushcia pink color. It suits my skintone well, methinks. What I like about this product is the applicator. Feeling ko para kong nagcocolor lang. It also makes it easier to trace my lip line. At first, I wasn't a fan of the lip balm too, but when I tried it this morning, it makes the color more alive. I might not use the balm everyday though as it still feels heavy on the lips. A lot of reviews say the product is really long lasting and I agree, I put in on this
morning on my way to the office and I haven't retouched yet. Let's see if it survives after ko magtoothbrush.
The verdict: If the stick lasts for more than a month, I might buy the Passion, Gothic and Flame shades too. Hahaha
1:49pm Update: After eating lunch (Tapa King with egg and garlic rice plus Mt Dew), the color was still vivid but after brushing my teeth, the color became more sheer. May kaunti pa ring natira pero I decided to reapply. So the first application lasted for about 5 hours. Not bad!
