Weekend love! (long post ahead!)
If the past weekend is an indication of how fun my life in Kapitolyo is going to be, then I definitely made the right decision in moving. I had soooo much fun the past weekend kaya I'm really looking forward to moving in with aoitenshi at the Yellow Pad.
Thursday night:
The fun weekend started last Thursday. I went straight to Shang where Pipay and Ate Em picked me up for damadenoche's despedida party. Aya left for Spain yesterday so they had a small party for her at their condo in Wack-Wack Mansions. It was actually Pipay's boss who threw the party for Aya. How that came about, hindi ko na alam. All I know is that close na din si Aya sa family ng boss ni Pipay. Hahaha! Ayie was also there along with Aya's friend Chrissie. I haven't been to Pipay and Aya's place so I was pleasantly surprised that it was just a jeep ride away from Kapitolyo. Tatawid lang ng Edsa basically.
When we got there, dumeretso na kame agad sa unit ng boss ni Pipay. Andun na din yung ibang officemates nila. Videoke galore, food trip and inom! I also took a video of Aya while she was reciting a poem called Dangerous. Maganda pala yun. Hahaha! Hindi ako masyadong nagpicture because nawili akong kumanta. We left the unit at around 1am and then went back to Pipay and Aya's unit tapos nagtuloy ka kame dun ng videoke. We called it a night at around 2 or 3 am na yata.

Friday
I dunno how these girls did it, pero ang aga nila nagising! Ako I woke up mga 730 the following day. They were already up because Ate Em and Pipay had to go to Laguna for a family thingy and on the way, they're dropping off Ayie in Alabang. Chrissi had an interview that day so she had to leave early too. Aya and I were left in the condo that morning. I gave her a copy of A Million Little Pieces which is sooo appropriate because we were alcoholics back in college that's why she's my drinking buddy. We didn't go the same path as James Frey though, thank goodness.
Aya had to go work at 2pm too so we started getting dressed after catching up a little and having ramen for breakfast. I'm still bummed that she had to leave just when I'm about to move to a closer apartment. Di bale, she'll invite us to Madrid naman daw as soon as she gets settled there.

Aya helped me get on the right jeep going to Kapitolyo. Bin and I were supposed to attend a birthday party in Greenbelt but he ended up not going so I got to spend the rest of the day with Julls at the Yellow Pad. First order of business was lunch at Charlie's. It's a small burger joint right beside a car wash/repair shop. But I guess it's a pretty popular place because the line was really long and there was a steady stream of people arriving to have lunch. We were supposed to order th food for take out because there wasn't any table left but as soon as got our orders in, may table na navacant. So nag-dine in na din kame.
Julls and I both ordered Black Angus burger with fries.
I had mine with Mt Dew (loyal talaga!). We were supposed to get Buffalo wings and Julls wanted to try the Chocolate Milkshake but they ran out of BW and they weren't accepting orders for the MS. Sobrang dami ng tao, wala na daw gagawa nung MS.
Syempre picture muna bago kumain! Super hungry na kame by this time because we had to wait for almost an hour bago makakain!

Major fail si Julls sa pagkain ng huuuuuge black angus burger. It also didn't help that her patty fell apart right after the first bite. Hindi mo siya makakain talaga ng walang tissue. Pwede na lang kung super laki ng bibig at kamay mo. Lol. Buti na lang we didn't get the BF because burger pa lang, super busog na. Panalo. Next time we go here, yung Phillycheesesteak sammich naman ang itry ko.
After having lunch, we went back to the apartment and just chilled. Naglaro ng RC, PS and nagkwentuhan. We almost didn't notice na hapon na pala. We went out at around 5 I think and headed to Edsa Central to buy a bookcase for Julls' toys. Natawa ako sa pangalang ng appliance store: SOGO. hehehe

After finishing the delivery details, we went straight to Shang where Julls gave me a tour. Jusko. I am starting to love the place. Feeling ko, magiging bestfrtiend ko ang credit card ko sa mga susunod na buwan. Hahaha! We visited several shops, saw Alex de Rossi and bought kikay stuff from The Face Shop. All the while, we also got to plurk since there's free wifi connection in Shang. We were still full from lunch so we only had frozen yogurt at Yoh-Gurt Froz for dinner. Dahil puno ng tao sa Hobbe's, we just sat near the fountain while eating our yogurts.

Cab ride home
We were supposed to get manis and pedis but we ran out of time so we decided to have kikay night at the apartment instead.

We decided to do out nails first. I thought this shade of red was going to be pokpok red pero classy pokpok red naman pala. Hehehe
It was sooo hard to use the light pink nail polish that Julls bought so she used her trusty dark blue one instead.
Masks on! After doing our nails (epic fail na naman si Julls), facials naman. We looked like Cillian Murphy's character in the first Batman movie.
The following day, I woke up early because Bin and I made plans to go to Market!Market!. Matagal-tagal na kameng hindi nakakapunta dito. We walked around the gift market and fashion market. I was looking for black flats but I didn't find anything I liked. So we just bought stuff for our nieces and perfume for me. After that we had lunch at Brother's Burger and then looked at the stunning jewelries at Aldo na super mahal. We went back to their place in BL and spent the rest of the afternoon just chillin'. Sayang wala yung pamangkin niya kaya wala akong kalaro. We left for Festi at around 530pm. We bought our matching Havaianas Filipinas flipflops, had dinner at Fukuya, coffee at Starbucks and then saw Taking of Phelam 123. Uwian na after that.

Dinner at Fukuya: I had tonkatsu while Bin had the shoyu ramen which he inhaled before I even got to take a picture. Hahaha!
Starbucks stop: Iced White Choco Mocha for me, Mocha Frappe for Bin.
