DOLLHOUSE
BELONGING. HOLY SHIT. AMAZING TELEVISION. BEST SHOW OF THE WEEK HANDS DOWN.
THE WHEDONS OWN ME, OKAY?!?! IT WAS CUTE, SMART, SAD, DEPRESSING, AMAZING FANTASTIC!
Victor and Sierra are my OTP. And it's beautiful because it shows that nothing overcomes the power of hate better than love.
One of the biggest surprises when I started watching dollhouse... was how much I didn't really like Echo. But something about Victor and Sierra always got me. This was definitely not the case now. With all of my love for GLEE it's really hard for me to understand how FOX can develop one show so well, and then fall so flat with an amazing show like dollhouse. No one watches it because it's in a shitty timeslot, shitty other shows and it looks like a porno. None of the promos really speak to the characters or the plot- except for showing Eliza Dushku naked.
This week was all about Sierra. Or Priya. Or Both. It broke my heart, and fixed it, and then Enver Gjokaj's chemistry with Dichen Lachman is so- raw or real or I don't even know how to describe it. The Main Plotline- Fantastic. The secondary plot line of Echo instigating Victor into action: BRILLIANT. The tertiary plotline of Boyd just being amazing- superb.
I was one of the only people I think who hated Topher from the beginning. But they've fleshed him out and I officially love him now. What he did for Sierra was- I can't even explain it. Maurissa and Jed Whedon knocked this one out of the park. I wasn't a fan of the first two episodes, but if EVERY EPISODE WAS LIKE THIS ONE...gah. Shivers, Tears.
Please, I beg you, if you have not watched Dollhouse, or didn't like it, give it another chance.
