Okay, so when I said I was a "little busy" last post, I meant a lot. In brief, I am married now (most of you know this from either being there or witnessing the name change on FB). I have taken the summer off (instead of temping to make a little extra money) in order to take care of things that I've been neglecting, in point the rental place in Boyce which needs some major TLC after the last tenant let her children be artists (we're talking about modern art, you know, like spitting up chocolate milk on the walls).
I had a job interview last week with my friend Nikol's company for an Instructional Designer position. If I get it, I should know by the end of the week. Either way, I am content that I have a job and job security, so nothing lost and I've gained practice in interviewing. I do like the company, the people there seem very cool and the job itself seems like it could be good for my mental health.
My sister Heather is getting married August 15th, which I'm not too keen on, but I'll probably go anyways to support her. Andy says I should, and that he doesn't regret going to his sister's wedding back in May (I went with him, but he can't join me for Heather's due to his friend Al opening a sub shop in Baltimore that day).
Codi's doing great, he's maintained a healthy body weight and we go to the vet tomorrow for his annual check up. Andy's as awesome as ever, and married life really hasn't changed things too much. Our roommate is actively looking for a place with his woman, so hopefully we'll have a guest room open in time for the pig roast on September 19th!
