Riding in the Rain

The Good...
Grad school is over for the Summer semester, I pulled through my 6 credits in 6 weeks with a 3.85 GPA.

The Bad...
I found out on Thursday that I filled out the wrong FAFSA to get aid for the summer, so I am not able to get aid.  I have the dean working on a solution to help me out, but I don't foresee myself getting this debt paid down enough so that I can register for Fall classes.

The Ugly...
Codi's perianal fistulas has flared up hard core now, and we have to put him back on that $500/month medication.  Beyond small day trips, I don't foresee much traveling happening this summer.

This weekend we did a large ride (about 3 hours) south to a place named Bumpass, VA.  Yes, that's right, I spelled it correctly, it's enunciated "bumpus" by the locals.  There was a Virginia British Motorcycle Club (Andy's people) event down there and we had bbq, looked at a gorgeous house the man built, maintained by geothermal energy.  They also had a kickass salt water pool.  The ride down and back was lovely, and JT and my Uncle Dan joined us down there so it was a lot of fun!  I caught a lot of bugs on the way back, but I'm happy.

Yesterday we went out to Boyce on the bikes because a tenant owed Andy $.  We ended up waiting there a few hours because the tenant was so sick, she didn't understand we were waiting in front for her.  We ended up riding home, an hour and a half, in the rain.  We got back, had hot cocoa, dried off, and laughed.
