So this is what I've decided I'm going to try. I want to work for the Federal Reserve Bank. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's the bank of all banks. It's the bank that tells the other little banks what to do and decides if the interest rate is going to change. Aka: The Fed.
I originally thought I would have to have a master's degree to do so. This is not so. There are plenty of entry-level positions which I will be or am qualified for. After a few more months of doing this job, I will be applying for a new job with the Fed.
I just signed up for a class at GVSU to take to help with this process, but I don't know if I'm going to go through with it. I have to pay about $1000 by 5pm today in order to take the class. It's a huge jump to go from not even thinking about it to paying and taking a class in a matter of 3 hours. AHH!! So stressful. Maybe I'll just wait and take it at a later time and change jobs within the Fed after I've taken it. I just hate being pressured into making a decision so quickly!
But anyway, if I get a job with the Fed, I will most likely be moving out of state into a big city. I'll warn everyone first, but be prepared to not see me for long periods of time. :-/
