Yesterday I had a student, age of 9, that with the utmost confidence plays his guitar while feeling the pulse of the song with his entire body. He successfully moves his head (brains), torso (heart), arms, legs, and fingers to the beat of the song.
After a lengthy warm-up with a scale he stopped to ask his father and I: “Have you guys ever had the feeling… (Stops to rethink) Sometimes when I'm playing I feel like I stop moving… (The father looks at him with a light which stops him again to rethink) I feel like I slow down and lose where I am." (he exemplifies with a floating motion with his body and head, not referring to the beat at all, but to something physical and mental)
Does he innately know he is made of light?! Perhaps it is the current metaparadigm's results that effect the adults reaction which quiets the child's “so called” non-sense.
A child's innate “strange” answer to any of life's questions may be the truth of an adult's lengthy explanation. Although the adult's explanation may be more clear their brain can be cloudy with many unnecessary thoughts, and most often not connected with the heart.
