I'm working on something else with them, if that makes it better.

And, yeah, I didn't like the layout of the I Love CC group either. And I'd be more comfortable in a comm that is specifically slashy.

So...what should we call it? Anything but the Evil Condom name, really. Doesn't help that they have too many names. Another friend of mine suggested 'Rise of the Cobra". My friends appreciate low brow humour a little more than I do, apparently. It can only be fifteen characters, though the title can be as long as we want. Maybe "silverfaces" or "destrocobra" or "nanomites" or something. Ferrohannah?

I am thinking a black and blue (and/or green) scheme with some silver and white highlights, like their base. While there was a lot of green, it's more a joe colour. (Not neon green, but...idk I think the blue/black with some silver and white would be awesome.)

Can you draw line art of faces? I can colour well but my line art is sort of...hit and miss.

"silverfaces" and "nanomites" are kinda awesome names for the in-joke/allusion factor. (Nanomites might be the better of the two just because it's more fandom specific, whereas "silverfaces" might refer to all sorts of misc things.) And "destrocobra" is good because of its straightforwardness. It says exactly what it is.

And blue/black + silver/white would be fantastic.

Can you draw line art of faces?

Yup. My old speciality (back when I was an art minor many many years ago) was figure illustration. It's been a while, but it should be doable, especially since you've posted all those screencaps to use as references. What have you got in mind?

i liked "ferrohannah" because i am a total nerd Nanomites is winning for me because they are awesome and completely ridiculous-just like our Rex and McCullen. And, as you said, has the fandom-specific edge.

I was thinking of a title bar graphic, with one of the corners being their faces, looking all possessive and evil. Like an angry Brokeback Mountain. Alternately, that could be the top of the side bar, and that way there could be an unfixed background (one that doesn't move with the text) and not take up too much of space.

I'd use the pictures I got but...it was hard enough to make them look as good as they are. Alternately I could wait for the dvd but pfft that. If you have some time, it'd be awesome.
