Long time, I know.
Today was my first day of school. I'm a doctoral student. Oh. My. Goodness.
I can't believe it.
I like it. I have a load of reading to do....... it reminds me of the episode of The Twilight Zone with the guy who really likes to read. He reads every chance he gets- especially at work. He's always getting in troubled for reading at inappropriate times. One day, there's some sort of nuclear holocaust, and the guy survives because he went into a bank vault (where he works) to read. Everyone has disappeared. He is finally able to read in peace.
And his glasses crack. Just like that.
I have always loved to read and write, and now I guess I'm getting what I deserve.
I am excited though. It's gonna be great. Three years, boom, done. Only 2 years, 8 months, and 8 days left.
Not that I'm counting.
