Writer's Block: Seven Days

Apr 07, 2009 14:43

I look forward to mondays the least, the reason being so obvious in pop culture. The work to do after having spent 2 and a half days of the weekend staying as far away as possible from it. I look forward to fridays, again obvious and the majority's answer would match mine. Friday night I meet my friends, and the conversations have no time limit, they can go on and on and on and there is no worry or hurry... I love that time of the day or that season in the year when you and these people have so much to talk about, so much to laugh about, and no monster looming in on us.

Other than mondays and fridays, I love saturday mornings because of the weekender newspaper. I find out about the Broadway shows, carnegie hall shows, new musicians, classic artists, and cheaper but quality shows in the local jazz places. The arts section of the paper is amazing. "Modern Love" is a column on sundays that I spend my time reading slowly, chewing on every line of a new love story every week, and let myself FEEL. So far I've felt moved everytime I've read it, and that isn't often these days with so much of literature around, of even the least quality.

Other than that, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are better compared to the rest because I have only one class - calculus 2. Rest of the day I spend listening to music, going to coffee stores, reading books, or swimming and sauna/steam and all the relaxing things.

days of the week, writer's block
