In English Lit today we were given a box of words, which were the jumbled up words of the Sick Rose by William Blake. We had to write a poem out of only those words about something we were thinking about, then read it out and explain it.

BLAKE:
O Rose, thou art sick!
The invisible worm
That flies in the night,
In the howling storm,

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy:
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.

ME:
The storm worm flies secret in thy bed of crimson
found out night does destroy the art
and life the invisible howling
o, his love that has joy in thou
thy sick rose.

Themes, innit.
Confusion, sexuality, art & everyday functioning.
