Monday Blabberness
Ah back at work. Yay? Traffic was once again light this morning so I was able to let my car enjoy using the freeway again. My mileage has gone down so much since I've been driving mainly from home to work using surface streets. About 20mpg. Anywho. It'll be paid off in January. Finally.
My calves are killing me from the EA Active session Whitney and I had. Like seriously - I have to take tiny little steps because they won't stretch enough to allow me to take a big step.
I finally broke down and went grocery shopping last night. There was literally NO food in the house, so I can eat now. I need to eat really well this week as to not screw up my 5lb weight loss last week. Finally reached my 10lb mark (10.8 to be exact). I've been craving a Lean Cuisine pizza ever since Whitney had one on Saturday - so I bought one and it shall be my lunch today.
Wanted to publicly thank Whitney for a wonderful 4th of July. Getting the room at the Marriot was a fantastic idea, and it ended up being a great view. It was actually pretty neat being able to see them fired off, and see them explode. And not having to deal with being outside and in swarms of people - good times Whitney!
I have a really bad feeling about the MJ Memorial tomorrow. Something bad is going to happen - I hope it doesn't, but with all those people that didn't get tickets wanting to be there...I just don't know man, I don't know.
Josh is still in the wonderful world of Detroit. Finally at the half way point - only 7 more days. 2 weeks is a long time. I'm looking forward to him coming home, and resuming our normal life. I really only miss him on the nights that there isn't anything on TV. Tonight is the Bachelor, so we're good there. Freaking Wes finally needs to go. Scumbag!
I've been pretty proud of myself. Usually when Josh isn't around I get lazy about making the bed, putting away my getting ready items, doing dishes, etc. But - I've been doing all those things. I'm kinda cheating on the making the bed, because I've just been sleeping on top of the covers with a throw blanket over me so I just need to tidy the pillows in the morning. I think I'll do laundry tonight. I'm so domestic.
I'm still checking Davids Bridal every day to see if they have my Garter in stock, but still no luck. It's the one thing I still need from that collection. Gyarrr. Mom said she could "make" me one. I have a bad feeling about how that would turn out. It'll be in stock...one day.
Annyyywhooo...I should probably work now. I don't want to.
