Wedding Woes
Seriously people...just elope.
I'm having bridesmaid dress woes at the moment. I'm trying to get everyone in to try on dresses before the one I picked out get phased out. Unfortunately, I picked a theme that was part of the Spring Collection.
I'm having the biggest issues with my Mom - who doesn't even need to wear one of the dresses. First, she thinks everyone should wear an orange dress because she doesn't think the short floral dress will work because its not long. Then she suggested picking out a floral fabrick and having them made. Umm, what? No.
I sent her this representation that I made and she shot back with how I need to keep in mind my sisters "shapes" and not pick tight dresses. First of all, it was for representation only - it's been widely known that I'm going to let them pick whatever dress they want, as long as its in that color. But I do think I picked dresses that would flatter them. They're only going to be tight if they don't get the right size. I think a structured dress would look so much better than a dress with no shape that would make them look like a tent.
I have a feeling this is going to be way more difficult than picking out MY dress.
