in which Catherine drunkenly purchases some DVD's
So I went home for the weekend for no particular reason... I got really drunk with my mom on Saturday night and ended up wandering over to Blockbuster. Often when I'm blackout drunk I wake up discovering that I've bought weird things, usually DVDs from Blockbuster or Virgin's discount sale rack, and most of the time I'm pleasantly surprised by my taste while intoxicated... as of this morning I'm the proud, but somewhat perplexed, owner of:
1. The Strangers
2. Pineapple Express (very happy surprise, because I loved this movie)
3. Cadillac Records
4. Hancock (which I already own)
5. Righteous Kill (which I also already own)
6. Tropic Thunder
7. My Best Friend's Girl (I actually said "Really?" out loud to myself when I found this)
8. the new X-Files movie
9. Meet The Spartans (strange choice, but I can work with it)
Other past drunken purchases have included: Anchorman, Galaxy Quest, THX Director's Cut, Hairspray, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Gremlins, and Rushmore. All fine choices, if I do say so myself.
Also apparently I fell down in the street and was offered a ride home by some random people (I think an elderly woman??) who are fans of my mom from when she filed a criminal complaint against these people who owned these literally murderous pitbulls who tried to kill our dogs, and my mom, and other people's moms and dogs.
