Help MySpace WIth Their Outages
Ok, so if you're going through withdrawals from all these MySpace outages, you're not alone. The record-breaking heat has caused the power to go out all over California, and the triple-digit (over 100 degrees!) for 18 days straight has really strained the powergrid, and caused the server problems at MySpace.
Luckily, there's something you can do! Every hour on the hour, from now until it cools off in California, we all need to help it cool down. If you go outside, face west, and blow as hard as you can, it will create enough wind to change the jet streams, and start to bring cool air to the region. Scientists at the national weather center have had this theory for a long time, but never had a group large enough to test it. Now that MySpace is down, they've got the numbers to prove this long-held theory.
