spring break made my soul smile!
no flight delays! not one! spring break was nice relaxing and fun the way spring break should be!
Big props to all who came to my suprise b-day party at gameworks!XD And even bigger props to my sissy for planning it!^^ it rocked! I was soooo suprisedXD you see I thought the whole day was going to be just a sister day something me and my sis do from time to time as a way to get out of the house for a carefree day. and so the day started out. we got up about 9 am. went to spring hill mall and did our usual fashion show cute shirt try on at DEBS. then we went to hot topic and bought some matching kickass green fairy shirts. and then we decided to head to woodfield mall for lunch. we decided to go to Stir Crazy as I had been wanting chinese food for a couple weeks due to having watched all of the Cooking Master Boy anime series. we had the app platter and found we liked their chicken pot stickers a lot.(decided to get my parents to take us there so we could try the entrees-limited budget= apps only which were tasty and filling.)then we went to the 4 o'clock showing of Ghostrider(currently my favorite movie^^) at loews theatre. luckily my sis talked me out of shopping at the mall longer and going to a later movie showingXD so that the people who were waiting at gameworks for our arrival(unbeknownst to me though we were planning on going to go to gameworks anyway:)) weren't kept waiting too long. when i got there and saw everyone I was soooo suprised and happy/excited. I got a big purple stuffed bunny from Johnny which i just loooove! I had trouble naming it and finally decided to call it Bunny. Bunny's middle name is Dandee.XD anyways met a couple of new people(mary and Drea-this was a great suprise in itself^^I also got to meet Chris and actually talk to him^^) I got a hug card from mary which is now a decoration on my dorm wall:) and a pretty pink glowy fiberoptic pen.XD we spent time playing pool which was fun! and i played my fav game of cyber bowlXD(i love bowling in any form^_^)people came and went as the night wore on and we all had a great time! the last of us left at two in the morning when gameworks closed. and luckily got safely home in that nasty snowy wheather.
I have been told that I will be staffing. yay! now how to go about making that completely official i need to know and soon Acen's only two months away now.(I'm a bit worried about things not going smoothly it's my first year staffing and all.) i did get an email from brent finally. I wish i had a better way of contacting him.
some family plans got cancelled due to wheather sadly.and so did a trip to a friends house:(
but I got my b-day cards from fam and friends and my daddy gave me a heart shaped box of valentines day fannie may choclates.(so rich and yummy^_____^) monday was celebrate my b-day with my mommy, daddy and sissy^^ we had dinner at stir crazy and then saw The Bridge to Terebithia. I got 3 dvds: disney's Alice in Wonderland cartoon, the Neverending Story III(I now own all three movies on dvd^^), and Brother BearII. I also got pocky and candies from sis that she bought in china town.XD the three sets of tinkerbell stickers and pencils are cool too. then my parents let me pick out a flash drive and some earbuds which were much needed and my dad bought me on whim a cool st.patty's day t-shirt.XD did some financial stuff.(taxes bills and whatnot) got an extra hard drive as a gift from gio. he is not allowed to buy me a christmas present this year the hard drive was way too much money.
I got my hair cut really short the morning of my flight back to school.
spring break did my soul good and I'm currently content with myself.
I have no roomates currently. It's so nice to not have to worry about keeping them up or waking them up. less drama for me. i've started my academic term. which proves to be challenging but every academic class i'm taking I see how it can benefit me personaly to have to take them so I'll try my best to do well. I'm also looking forward to some community service opportunites made available to me through class. I will continue to attend anime club and hopefully will get back into the swing of going to church again.(I haven't gone to church of my own accord in about a year.:( I had some things to think through about religion and my relationship with God.)
things are goig okay for now i'm hoping this a sign of things to come. I know I can succeed if I just try.Go me!XD
