I thought for sure that Stiles was gone into the Nemeton when it was re-tree-ed from a stump especially with the way Derek notice the atmosphere of Beacon Hills. Kind of a Stiles thing.

I missed the part (in the show?),when did the nemeton become a stump? Tried watching the show but um it catches me and then it doesn't. Have big holes in my Teen Wolf knowledge.
Did like that Stiles is birthed from the Nemeton's trunk. That made sense. And Derek as anything but an alpha, didn't. *grins* Which isn't your fault.

It will be interesting to see if you've guessed corrected or pre-Jeff-ed the show.

I think it's been a stump for a while. We hadn't seen the top of it until Kali almost killed Julia and it's a stump. Deaton said in the last ep that what they were doing would give power back to something that hadn't had it in a long time, now I'm not sure if that means it was destroyed way before the whole Alpha pack thing, or what. Y'know, it has about as much detail as most of Teen Wolf canon, which is not much ::G::

I only got into the show at beginning of July and I mainlined s1 and s2 and then waited until we were almost at the end of the season to watch s3a.

Oh I suspect I have guessed completely wrong, but then that's why I wanted to get as much out as possible before the next ep. That way I can justify to myself continuing with the AU :). I think I'm about half way through part 3 now.

This was an awesome twist. I especially enjoyed that Derek was the one to find him, could prove interesting for their relationship. Can't wait to see how this progresses. :)
