oh wow!!! that was really good! Mmmmmmmm Hyde + Gackt = SWEET HOT...MMMM....^^;;
but err... "The dark eyes he was gazing into changed even as he watched them, going from almost black, fading to brown and continuing until they were a golden yellow. Hyde felt as if he was being swallowed by those eyes"

He can't see brown or yellow.

I thought he was red/green colour blind, bugger, have I been reading incorrect info?

I have got it wrong somewhere else anyway - because I totally forgot :).

As far as I know it's red/green color blindness. It can't be total color blindness (as in you see everything in black-and-white) anyway, because he can see blue - he collects blue glass objects, after all. ^^

Total colour blindness is very rare too - red/green is the most common followed by yellow/blue I think.

lol ^^ it's really hard to remember though!! i was once reading a story where gackt was asking about his lenses and hyde was just staring at him and I was like '...erm, say something?' and then hyde was like 'I'm colourblind' and I was like ^^;; ...*bash head* of course! I wouldn't have remembered that hehe
but it's a reeeeeally cool story, so it doesn't matter XD

In our eyes, there are rods and cones. The cones percieve light/dark, and the cones percieve one of three colours, red, green, or blue. Those are the primary colours of light.

In light, yellow is made by a combination of red and green.
