Just got off the phone with my (ex-) boss. The Powers That Be here at Bell have decided that they don't need people with a specific healthcare focus, so they have split up our team and moved us all in to different areas of the company. I've been moved to professional services, where I will end up working on financial services projects, exactly like I decided I never wanted to do again when I left Algorithmics six years ago. It also probably means that I won't be able to go to Oak Brook next month for the next IHE meeting.
Which, of course, means I am looking for another job. In a serious way, now, not the half-assed way I sorta kinda have been for the last few months. So if you hear of any kind of healthcare technical or solution architect jobs going in or around Toronto, pass 'em on my way.
