so i've decided to change my career path. no longer am i going to be a teacher. i am going to be a laser technician. so i WON'T have to stay an extra semester and spend an extra $12,000. i WON'T have to take anymore stupid education classes that i HATE! and i MIGHT actually even graduate early, although i don't really want to...but i don't know what other classes i would take, cuz i'll have finished the english major after next semester, i'll have the creative writing emphasis and biology minor done after next semester, and the semester after that will finish off my history minor, so what else am i supposed to do? i guess maybe i could graduate early and go ahead and start looking for an apartment and a good esthetics school. we'll see. i have to figure out how to tell my parents though...i tried last week, and my dad was definitely less than happy...rather angry actually...and everyone--even my sister the massage therapist--said i should stick with something more mainstream like teaching. so they convinced me for a week, and then i decided, ya know what? this is my life and i'm not happy doing what i'm doing right now. so i'm going to do what i want to do. so there. robby was supportive though. and sara when i told her tonight. yay for supportive ppl!
