Lord, please help me help my stupid self
forgot to mention this on my last post - if you want to see a few pictures of me running the winter beach run, you can click here. the one on the left is at the 5 mile point, the other crossing the finish line. and yes, that's a bicycling jersey i'm wearing.
so i've got this bag of euro coins in my desk, left over from the 2003 deployment (yes, i keep things that long). i pulled it out for a random count today, and evidently, i have 15 euros and 95 cents in that bag. kinda cool.
kim's been sick at home the last two days, so she hasn't seen the bouquet of tulips i sent to her school. i tried to have the delivery location altered, but to no avail. blast. at least she'll see them tomorrow.
been a long day so far here at work, but at least i managed to sneak in a 4 mile run at lunch (36m34, ~9m09 pace). it was the first time i've actually gotten to run since sunday, when i did 4.5 miles over trails (THAT was tough). lots of paperwork, plus narrowly missing an ass-chewing from the XO (i got skillz).
okay, this was a fun procrastination. back to work. peese.
