Anybody remember the fun junior high crushes?? Ahhh, the joys. I got to thinking about that tonight and it made me want those times back. Everyone had a crush one someone, and everyone else knew who had a crush on who. And most of the time, whoever you had a crush on would find out that you had a crush on them, because everyone else knew and most people can't keep their mouths shut, and then that person would decide they had a crush on you too and it would turn into lame junior high relationships. Man, were those the days or what!! Just wish it was that easy today....but its not. And those so-called "crushes" these days can turn into husbands. CRAZINESS!!!! Nothing really inspired the thoughts of junior high crushes, in case you were thinking that i may have a crush one a certain someone...you're wrong :) Or are you? HA! Now you're super confused, and we're just going to keep it that way.
Dinner with the girls was tonight and i loved it. Akward that i got to the meeting early and sean got there and that made it even more akward and then a few minutes later after him and nikki met sean said "You sure did get to the meeting early tonight"....i just felt very much in the way. Whatcha gonna do?? I mean really....
Sweet Eugene's afterwards with A.J. and Paige and then Micah and Nicole and Boots (sad that i dont know her real name??) came later on. It was a genuinely good time. Lots and lots of good laughs. And more akward moments with nick. I absolutely HATE me and nicks friendship. I should explain the previous statement: i love nick, great guy, but our friendship is just weird. Half the time he ignores me. Half the time when he does talk its akward. And the akwardness was as its peak level tonight. I had said as he was talking to sarah behind me that its surreal to hear his voice, and then explained that he was my FCA president and that i heard it all the time in high school, and now to be in college hearing the same voice all the time is weird. And A.J. looks at him and goes "She's talking about you behind your back" to which he responded "I trust that anything shes saying is true" which made my heart smile as well, but THEN paige goes "She likes your voice" which was SUPER DUPER akward...like out of this world akward...and i tried to explain and it just got worse. So then he came up to say bye and goes "Glad you like my voice..." and walked off. AKWARD.
Nonetheless, it was fun. But, i have to go study. I decided that i'm not gonna sleep the next 3 nights, 2 for sure anyways. 2 tests tuesday, both of which my grade in the class will depend on. ANd then the killer paper due thursday. BUT...i got a 123 on the last test and a 111 on the first test, giving me 34 points of extra credit. The paper itself is only worth 50 points, so i'd only have to get a 16 to keep a 100 average. So i figure i can not do the paper altogether and keep an A in the course. But the presentation of the paper is worth 25 points, so i need to at least write SOMETHING so that i can have something to present. So i figure i'll write like 2 pages and be done with it. With that said, economics is calling my name (You mean you heard that too?? CRAZY!!!)
