the short story long
SO! our apartment lease is up as of september first. so yesterday was the last time we'll pay rent at this hellhole. we thought we'd have the house by now, but it's not looking like it's going to be this soon. it's just because the bank needs to approve the short sale, which can be a very long time for now, or next week. there's just no telling. they do month to month rent here, but for one hundred dollars more a month. FUCK THAT. why would i pay $100 more a month to live in this piece of shit!? so with all this house business and not knowing exactly if we're going to get it... we've decided to move back in with david's parents until we know we're getting the house. we're going to put a lot of stuff in storage, but all the other stuff will go in the basement at his parents. which is where we'll be staying. there's a toilet down there too so that's cool. i shit a lot.
so we are going to be out of here by the end of august, so i'm already packing because we don't even really have to be here.
so while we're waiting to hear about the house, we can pay off david's capital one credit card, his best buy credit card, our bed, and the $800 left on my once $6,000 debt.
so fucking pumped it's sick.
we won't have to pay cable or electric so that's even more money.
we also don't have to pay our car insurance for 2 months cause we have it set up to where you pay it all in 4 months. and david's going to be 25 in october so our car insurance will go down. then when we get the house and the home owner's insurance combined, it'll go down more.
so hopefully we're going to have minimal debt by the time we get our house. this is what we hope but we don't know exactly when we could hear about the short sale.
his parents are having a garage sale this weekend 3 days... so we're going to get rid of all the shit we don't want/need.
if you need bookshelves or anything stop by cause we're selling all our ikea stuff... except one side table and coffee table. i have all the white tables 2 bookshelves and a different shelving unit. we also have some of those floating shelves.
i can't freaking wait.
we're selling the white ikea dresser too but mike already got first dibs on that.
i know it's going to suck moving back in with parents but it's going to be worth it in the end.
so flipping excited!
