Testing 1-2-3...
As much as I complain about Grey's Anatomy, and as much as I know it isn't that great, I can't stop watching-- probably mostly because I refuse to accept that Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers are as...well, mean and retarded as they are. Somewhere in the back of my mind is hope that it will be awesome-- and there are definite "squee" moments that make it worthwhile.
But then again, it is dark and twisty. I somehow last week managed to forget how dark and twisty is was-- probably because It's Addison! is much more bright and shiny (somehow, even though it is...Addison.) I want to smack Izzie and George's heads together-- their whole stupid sub-plot has been going on for way too long, and doesn't look like it is stopping any time soon. Which pisses me off, especially because Callie has been AWESOME lately and George has been a total asshole. There was never any really cute O'Callie, because I have always hated one or the other of them and that's uncool.
I also state once again that the subtlety skills of the writers have been declining this season, however they were slightly better this episode, I will give them that. And I am hopeful that things will at least stay at this level, because this level was watchable.
The Thatcher/Meredith/DeadFakeMommy thing is still pissing me off. GET OVER IT, BITCHES! I mean, Thatcher is supposed to suck. I get that. But I hardly feel that Meredith has the right to be mopey and hurt. She didn't even like Fake Mommy! (A fact that I was mad about. Meredith BEHAVES like a twelve year old, she doesn't just look like one.)
There was one little bitty scene between Mark and Addison which left me thoroughly unfulfilled. MARK DIDN'T TELL HER HE LIED. I was waiting for it, and it would have been the perfect opportunity (if the writers knew anything about writing a television show). If he doesn't 'fess up next episode, I will be really, really upset.
Addison/Callie was cute. It redeemed the episode. Oh, poor Addie being stalked by pregnant women (despite being an OB). Aww, though. Seriously. I also loved the little Attendings Bachelor Party. Granted, it made no sense, but Addison was cute being the only girl. If Izzie/George would stop, and Maddison would have a proper conversation, life would be good.
OH and also! Alex was Addison's intern, but they had no interaction! I thought that was part of the fling deal! First, sleeping together. Second, one person yells at the other. Isn't the third part supposed to be awkwardness, and the fourth confrontation? God, writers. Seriously.
I really wish that Addison had put the smackdown on Derek a couple weeks ago when he was being an ass.
Despite everything, I'm still sad that there's only one epi left this season :(
Oh, and I recorded Traveler, so I must watch that demain.
