Things...and ranting
First of all, I finally got to watch Prison Break. There was a guy at work selling the first season for £20, so I bought it. And then I proceeded to watch it all in three days. Oh my heck! I love it. I can't wait until I can buy the season so I can watch it some more.
I'm doing Wado Ryu karate now. It's not TKD, but I like it. And all the guys are really cool. I can't believe how much I've missed martial arts. It's like my arm has been missing for 10 years and I finally got it back. I wish I could do TKD again, but they don't have it here. The guys that teach the TKD class teach the other style and focus mostly on boxing. Ick.
And I'm now 24! Happy birthday to me! (Late)
And I had my first wedding anniversary. Woohoo. I can't believe we made it a year. Haha. It was good. We went to dinner at Tropical Bistro. Espetadas...yum... I adore Portuguese food. Yummy.
We're going to France next week for vacation. I'm excited about that. We have this house there and it's in the middle of nowhere. We're going to be there on Bastille Day, so we're thinking of driving over to Bordeaux to see the fireworks, but it's about 4 hours west of our house, so we'll see. I've never been to Bordeaux, and I think I would like to go. And while I hate the frogs, France is super pretty.
Speaking of the frogs, here comes the rant. She-who-must-not-be-named has gone off to Paris for a few days. No big deal about that really. But she left her little protege all alone. She's such a wuss and can't do anything! All she does is cry and whine. She went to our manager and said that she had too much stuff to do and needed help with it, so somehow I'm now doing some of her work??? Not fair! And I've been told to expect to work late and everything. Piss off. I have no desire to do my own work let alone someone elses. There's more to this story than just this. But, in the end, I just can't stand the frogs...or my job...
I've applied for a job as a journalist... Wish me luck. I've eventually got to move to England, though, before I go absolutely insane.
